Detailed model of PTC Beast Roller Coaster Train & Track Laser Engraved & Cut

  
Highly detailed model of a PTC type roller coaster train and track. PTC set the standard for Train design and build that has endured through the years. This model pays tribute to that design. Lap bars can be moved up and down. All parts were engraved and cut with a Boss 65W laser engraver. The train is made from 84 pieces of wood plus 8 wire'axles'. 14 of those make up the mosaic Beast sign on the front. The track is made from 7 pieces of wood plus 14 stainless steel truss head screws. End stop made from 4 pieces. The majority of the material is 8 different colors of finished 1/8 (2.84mm) birch plywood. Wheels, track ties a nd stop are 3/16 (4.62mm) Maple veneered MDF. Felt strips on bottom of track. Every piece wiped down with alcohol to remove laser residue. Then assembled with Titebond III exterior grade wood glue.
